Here are some good deals going on right now, and other finds that are low-priced regularly. Some I’ve read, and I’ll be posting a review for #2, Frost, next week. Enjoy!

The freebie for the week is Open Minds, book 1 of the Mindjack trilogy by Susan Kaye Quinn. It’s free on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and on Google Play. The digital box set can also be purchased for $6.99 on both Amazon and Barnes & Noble.

Frost, the first installment of Kate Avery Ellison’s Frost Chronicles, is only $.99 for Kindle. I actually just finished this one and will be reviewing it next week. It was a bit slow to start and the protagonist was a little dry, but once it got going it was pretty good. Plus it’s short, which can sometimes be nice for the start of a series.

3.

Divergent

Divergent by Veronica Roth is only $4.99 on Amazon and Google Play, so if you haven’t read this series yet, you won’t be out too much if you grab the series opener. It’s also available through Overdrive if you’re interested in getting it from your library.

Containment Zone by R.A. Seckler is only $.99 on Amazon and $2.99 on Barnes & Noble. If you’re super patient, you can read it on his blog while he posts one chapter a week, which was what I planned on doing before I read the first couple chapters. It’s not YA, more just sci-fi. It’s a really cool new take on the zombie storyline so don’t write it off as just a recycled version of an old idea because it’s done very well. You can read my review for it here.

Cursed, book 1 of S.J. West’s Watcher’s trilogy, is only $2.99 on Amazon. With almost 1300 ratings on Goodreads, it’s certainly worth checking out.

  1. OMG Read Open Minds. I loved the twist on a dystopian novel.
